Democratizing Form

Kennedy Center

Architecture is the manifestation of the sublime. But subverting the intention of the architect yields discoveries of similar form, repeated endlessly through the materials of wood, steel and concrete. Finding common abstractions regardless of purpose, scale or ambition of the structure, breaks down the inequalities of aesthetics between grand public memorials, common public buildings, and simple personal structures.
