Zev Kanter has spent his career in advertising and marketing, managing brands, developing creative campaigns and communicating clear messages through images and video. While attending the University of Rochester and being inundated with the history of the form at the Eastman House Museum, Zev began to pursue photography as something more than hobby. In his 20s, the political and geographic landscape of Washington, DC lent itself to photographs of grand protests and street actions. But with a family, career commitments and a move out of the city, Zev’s subject matter shifted to what was around, the architecture of the everyday.
